Parado, Mal: was born in the village of Picote, located in the arid but stunning interior of north eastern Portugal, in 1982. It was here I learned the intricacies of Mirandês, the second official language of Portugal.

Even though I have a degree in telecommunication and information technology I still prefer to use a type writer, despite the racket it makes. After having lived and worked in many countries on telecommunications projects for aircraft, trains and metros I still prefer to travel on foot.

Over the years I have taken courses in poetry and creative writing and scribbled hundreds of poems on table clothes and napkins during meals with the family and friends. At the moment I am travelling the world and sharing stories with the people I come across on my way.
